RX-MDX83 is equipped with a cassette in addition to a CD / MD. The body color is silver (-S) only. The operation buttons are centrally located on the foot stand, and a “pop-up operation stage” that changes to an easy-to-operate angle in conjunction with the angle of the main body is installed to improve operability. The operation panel and remote control are displayed in Japanese to improve usability.
MD is compatible with MDLP, and up to 6x speed recording from CD to MD is possible. It also has an MD group management function and a title search. The input terminal is equipped with P-MD, analog audio, and microphone input (monaural).
The maximum practical output is 3W x 2ch. A 7 cm diameter PP mica speaker is used as the speaker to achieve rich bass and transparent treble reproduction. It is also equipped with a “live virtualizer” that enhances the feeling of live performance. It also has a headphone output. A remote control is attached.
